We are an independent academic publisher built on a single belief: rigorous, well-reviewed research should be accessible to read and attainable to publish — wherever a scholar happens to be.
From five faculty members to an international publishing house
VidhiAagaz was founded on 20 July 2017 by a small group of five faculty members who shared a frustration with the academic publishing landscape: credible platforms were too few, too closed, and too distant from the students and early-career researchers who needed them most.
What began as a modest initiative has grown into a team of 50+ academicians and professionals spread across India, France, Nigeria, Ireland, Indonesia, Cameroon and Ethiopia. Together they steward peer-reviewed journals, edited book series and individual publications read by scholars around the world.
Our name joins Vidhi — law — with Aagaz — a beginning. For more than 14,000 authors, publishing with us has been exactly that: a credible first step into the scholarly record.
